My father cares for my mother who has Parkinson’s and dementia with Lewy bodies. He desperately needs somewhere where he can leave my mum once or twice a week during the day to have a break for a few hours or just to get jobs done with the knowledge that she is in safe hands. Just wondered if anyone could recommend a day centre in or near to the Harrow area in North West London.

In case you haven’t considered this option, you can always get in touch with the Harrow Branch of Parkinson’s UK to see what they have on offer for your father and your mother. On their page you will see there is a respite group for carers, for example, that might be of interest to them.
