Hi All, Wondering if anyone has experience of DBS when you're over 70? My husband had a chat with the neurologist recently and she said that in the over 70s they can only do DBS for one side of the brain as to do both can cause problems with balance. My husband's tremor drives him nuts and he is on a lot of meds to help him with this. Otherwise his other PD symptoms are mostly not too bad. So DBS could be a good thing if it stops his tremor and allows him to reduce his meds. Would love to hear from anyone that's had it done in later life. Thanks
