If you have or are having DBS i wonder if you’d be happy telling me your wait time from referral to surgery and which hospital / trust that’s in.
I was referred for DBS in May 2024
Started assessment process in May 2025
Was told I’d passed assessment Decision 2025
January 2026 was told it would not be until 2027
PDiagnosed in 2018 (54) having had symptoms since 2014.
Due to another chronic condition which has previously meant removal of the part of the bowel where the absorbtion of the drugs happen and ongoing issues treatment by tablets is unpredictable and difficult.
