I would like to say how absolutely amazing Southmead Hospital were last week.

I have been waiting 15 months for my DBS, and having got fed up with waiting, and were told “it should be this year…” we
booked 3 weeks in Cyprus. Three days into our only holiday this year, I saw the number of the hospital on my phone. I was told there was a cancellation did I want it. I said “let me change our flights and I will confirm. Flights changed in a flash and off home we headed. Southmead in Bristol were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, they explained everything, the consultant was fantastic . Ten days post surgery i still can’t believe it’s happened. My many many thanks to all the team that welcomed me, looked after me, cut my hair, fed me YOU WERE ALL AMAZING.
My son, Stuart, has raised over£4,000 this year for Parkinson’s uk
