Hi Margs
I found citizens advice really helpful. The guy there filled out the application for me, with me.
I was then asked to provide evidence - which my GP and physiotherapist both wrote a letter.
Then was again sent another form to fill out.
Then I just got it now which I’m really grateful for.
If you need a blue badge because you can’t access wider car park spaces otherwise, and you need the soace to be able to enter and exit your car, that is totally valid.
Good luck
Well done Margs for sticking it out . Second time my BB was up for renewal they first said l did not need one. so I wrote down all progression of PD and it worked, I myself think that untill joe-public realise that PD is not all about just tremors then we will keep hiting barriers. x
I went through it a while back and had a similar uncertainty about eligibility. It sounds like your situation might qualify, especially if walking long distances is tough sometimes and you need extra space to get out of your car.
