Dizziness and exhaustion

Started 12.5/50 cardelopa 10 days ago. They make me exhausted and dizzy and it’s def the tablets as I wasn’t before .

Does this wear off as you get used to them? I felt better without them :cry:

It is completely understandable to feel discouraged right now. When you start a treatment with the hope of feeling better, it is incredibly jarring to feel like your energy has been completely zapped instead. Please know that your body is currently going through a major chemical transition, and what you are feeling is a very well-documented response to this specific change.

To answer your question directly: Yes, for many patients, this severe exhaustion and dizziness do gradually wear off over a period of 2 to 4 weeks as the brain and blood vessels adapt to the new dopamine levels.

However, because you are exactly 10 days into your prescription, there are a few critical things happening beneath the surface that explain why you feel worse now than you did before, and what steps you need to take next.
