: Do you find it difficult when people say, "You look so well"?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Friends and family often tell me I “look really well,” and while I know they mean it as a compliment, it can sometimes feel a bit frustrating because they don’t see what goes on behind the scenes.

Things like fatigue, stiffness, slowness, or just having an “off” day aren’t always visible to other people.

Have you ever found yourself in this situation? How do you respond when someone says you look well, even though you’re struggling with symptoms that day?

I’d be interested to hear how others deal with it.

I just nod, give a look and move on to something else.
