Hello everyone,
Do you think you’re being reflected in our content at Parkinson’s UK?
Parkinson’s UK is really passionate about equality, diversity and inclusivity in every aspect of our work.
As such, we are seeking real-life stories of people living with Parkinson’s and those affected around them, who come from a wide range of communities and backgrounds. This includes; ethnic minority backgrounds, the LGBTQIA+ community, people from different religious groups, people with different abilities or other underlying health conditions, etc.
Could you help us tell your story that is reflective of people living with Parkinson’s from all backgrounds?
No matter where you are in your Parkinson’s journey or your proximity to the condition (e.g. newly diagnosed, advanced Parkinson’s, family, friend or carer), each voice is just as important as the next. But today, certain voices matter because they are not heard enough.
By interacting with underrepresented communities, as a charity we can diversify our content across our online platforms as well as in print to ensure all stories are being highlighted and all voices are being heard.
If you’re interested in this opportunity, please comment on this thread or contact our PR team at [email protected] or respond to this thread.
Thanks in advance for your help!
