Hi all,
I was diagnosed in 2019, I’ve recently had an increase in my sinemet. I was taking the dose 3 times a day (4hourly intervals). I was finding the effect wearing off before I was due another dose. As I was due to see my consultant at the hospital I waited to discuss it with her. I asked her if I could start taking it 4 times a day 3hourly intervals - 9am, 12, 3pm and 6pm. She agreed and it’s working very well.
Don’t be afraid to make suggestions, you’re the only one who knows how your body feels. Our appointments give us the opportunity to discuss how we feel and if our current regime is working for us.

hi BarbH Thanks for posting this information I think your right some people think you should not ask questions? but i also think this comes from years ago when people used to treat doctors like kings. What your doctor said was law, so a lesson to be learned. thanks once again B for showing us the way.
