Dystonia & Meds

Hi all,

I’m holding off starting meds for as long as I can. I do get stiffness and Dystonia which is manageable, seems to me that going full on with Parkinsons med’s is using a sledge hammer to crack a nut. I’m determined to stay off them until tremor is too severe.

Does the dystonia cause permanent damage? My right foot feels like it’s twisting in, if I don’t take the meds will it get worse and permanently twist and will the meds stop this from happening?

Thanks for any advice or opinions.
