Dystonia

Hi everyone, I have been told I have Dystonia, severe cramps in lower back legs and feet mainly, is there more symptoms to look out for? seeing my specialist october.

Dystonia can also cause muscle stiffness, twisting or unusual postures, tremors and spasms, sometimes worse with stress or tiredness. Keeping a note of your symptoms and triggers could be useful for your specialist appointment.

Thanks Semione, definitely tiredness even after a full nights sleep, my body does not handle stress at all well.

Yeah, tracking triggers is huge. For me, stress and fatigue definitely make the spasms way worse, so keeping a quick note on your phone when they act up makes a big difference when you finally talk to the specialist. Hope the appointment goes well!
