I would find that a bit worrying as all drugs must have a max. Therec are only so many drugs someone's body can take and if you take to many PD ones then the side effects get in the watmy of the drug doing it's job properly. BB xx

Yeah i agree bb. What i was meaning to say that the pd specialists must work to higher tolerance then the gp reading it back sounds like I'm saying there's not a max i apologise for this . And that's not often lol

Hi

I need a little advice on entacapone.Ive used it since January.Im taking 5 25/100 split 3 times a day.I add a half 100 enta.with the first two doses.My only complaint is gas and maybe some sleep disturbance if I add it to my third dose.The gas is worse if I do  3x,pd better.Sort of a tossup.

A doctor told be im in a non effectice drug range with such a low dose 400 mg daily.

What do you think?

                                     The drug  works  fairly  rapidly,  though I was  not  warned that weeandpoo  would both  turn  red  so  when  I  went to  the  loo  I  got  a   helluva  shock  and  was about  to  ring 999  when  my  lovely  PD Specialist   dropped  by, she  was  sky  diving  , it  took  ages  to  repair  the roof,   seriously,  the drug  was  effective  for  a  while until  my  Ddopa  was  fitted,  as I  SAID  MY  NURSE  explained about  the  discoloured wee its  harmless

That wasa good one about your PD specialist dropping in,lol

 My healthcare is like a coin.

on one side what I get is almost worthless and If i didnt learn how to care for my PD Id be in a home.

On the other side Im doing better than last year in ways.So why do I need to frustrate myself finding someone  who can do better..

Ive gotten into many political and helping others.

Maybe thats why I'm doing better ,He's giving me more time.lol

I am now on the maximum dosages I can take and my quality of life is pretty poor.
I am thinking of DBS but for various reasons I don’t want to have the op ( always saying I am suitable for it) in Liverpool.
Where was your surgery carried out, would you recommend them

Did anyone get muscle cramps whilst using comtan. - if so - where? Thanks
