I have an ESA assessment today. Among the documents which I have to bring is "UK photo driving licence (both parts), My photo driving licence is one little plastic - it is certainly not in two parts. I have hunted for my old green paper licence but… … I’ll just have to go along to the Jobcentre and hope for the best!

Once you have a credit card driving licence your paper copy is void.
I had to destroy my paper copy.
