Foot support

Morning, I have slight drop foot on my right foot. Can anyone recommend a foot splint to be worn on the foot and go inside the shoe?
I have on which attaches around the ankle and fixes to the shoe but it doesn’t work in all shoes.
Thanks for you help
Shorn

Hi @Shorn,

I’m sure you’ll hear from our members shortly, however in the meantime, it might be helpful if you explore the Parkinson’s UK shop to see if they have any foot splints on the site. You can find the shop by clicking on the following link: https://shop.parkinsons.org.uk/

Best wishes,

Hi Shorn I have splints on both my feet due to drop foot, predominantly worse on the left foot. These were given to me by orthotics dept and physio at hospital. It would be best to go through physio as they measure your feet to determine which splints are best suited for you. There are lots of products and it’s a bit mind blowing. I can find out the company who makes the ones I have if you want me to. Good luck
