Foot therapy

Epsom Salts!

My left foot is both the one most affected by Parkinson’s and has also been broken twice, leaving it wonky. A side effect is that the ball of the foot is covered in seed corns. These can be very painful to walk on and interfere with my mobility almost as much as the Parkinson’s and the damage from the breaks.

I go to a chiropodist once a month, but my foot still gets uncomfortable in between visits.

That is until my recent discovery - Epsom Salts, dissolved in a foot bath. I soak my feet for fifteen minutes, then use a foot file on the corns and calluses. I do this twice a week, and now walking is much more comfortable.
