Found this forum while looking for fellow musicians with Parkinson's

Hi, I’m Mario. I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease a few years ago.
Like for all of us, the disease has posed challenges I had simply never thought of before, but at the same time I have tried to get sth good out of it. I had been writing and playing music for all of my life but without doing much with it concretely… This has changed now. I am trying to record all of that music (a bit too obsessively acc to my wife ,-) Started in a music studio but soon that turned out to be impossible (it’s hard to play the guitar if you can barely keep it from falling to the ground). So, I invested a bit of money in a simple home set-up and since then embarked on the journey to get all songs recorded before the disease stops me. Besides that goal of having the music recorded, I think it helps me to calm down and who knows controlling the symptoms a bit better. Some of the songs I wrote ages before knowing about the disease also got a completely new meaning, in hindsight, because of it. To date I recorded 52 songs and will continue on my journey. Although modest, I’m trying to get the music heard as much as I can. In case anyone is interested, please google Rosewood Tales. You will find my songs on Youtube, Spotify etc. All best to all of you! Mario.

Look forward to listening to your music, Mario!
