can anybody shed any light on the genetic form of parkinsons?

Parkinsons UK do a publication. Go to the home page top left - publications - a-z list "Inherited Parkinson's and genetic testing" Also, if you google LRRK2 gene which was the first gene associated with hereditary PD which I believe was first discovered by studying an Italian family whose extended family contained many PWP's, you will find loads of stuff.
