I saw a GP yesterday and you’ll please to know that the young man told me “Parkinson’s doesn’t cause pain”

Hi @Johanmb, that must have been really frustrating to hear. Pain absolutely can be part of Parkinson’s. Lots of people experience things like muscle stiffness, cramping, dystonia, joint pain or nerve pain. It affects everyone differently, but it’s definitely recognised as a symptom.
If pain is becoming harder to manage for you, it’s worth speaking to your Parkinson’s nurse or even explaining this to the GP again so they can look at what might help. @Dusty68 I did try but he was so convinced he was right I decided not to push and then get delisted for arguing. However I did mention it in the feedback text I got

Hi Johanmb,
Please understand that the vast majority of GP’s have very little knowledge about Parkinsons.
After what your GP told you it would seem that he has very little knowledge about a lot of things.
The moderators suggestion about contacting the help line makes sense.
I am sure they could give you the details of someone who actually knows what they are talking about.
