Has anyone had experience of having to have hip surgery? I am due to have a revision of a hip replacement. I am a bit concerned as I really struggle to get out of bed and with the added problems of hip surgery it might be a bit of a nightmare . My orthopaedic consultant has said the pwp have problems with hip replacement and has anyone any experience of this? Hilda xx
Yes - ive had 2. The first 1 no problems - but the second one has caused a great deal of problems with my gait - when my meds are off i favour my right causing a variety of extra problems.
Hi had my hip surgery twelve months ago no problems with the op however have had to have physio to help strengthen the hip after surgery. Back in the gym swimming zumba spin classes and body conditioning. Exercise definitely helps keep my symptoms stable
