History of skin cancer

My husband has been prescribed sinemet but we have noticed on the drug information that it should not be prescribed if you have a history of skin cancer. He had skin cancer 16 years ago but the consultant and GP never asked about this. Are there any alternatives? We are going to ask the consultant about this but have kind of lost confidence in him.
Hi
How we all wish there was an alternative to sinemet but after 50 years it is still the main treatment for PD. There are other meds and you can read about them in the PUK publications, there is a booklet on treatments and it can be downloaded. i found it very helpful. Sinemet ( or Madopar) are still considered the standard treatment everyone eventually uses.
The literature about skin cancer I think refers to Melanoma, there are other types of skin cancer.
I have skin cancer called Basal Cell Carcinoma. It's treatable.

I don't know if its anything to do with PD, but I spent my childhood in Zimbabwe.

Got to have sessions every now and then to get rid on blobs

oh joy!
