Hi Barbara hope your OK and still enjoying weather been quiet as my filling fell out and we have new dentist who, s never there had to beg and fight for emergency treatment think I may be banned from 111 calls as I lost plot and after sorting that lost my balance and peeled skin back on my arm again really need skateboard gear mam has had dates for 2 apps but not main on all my best
Pete
Losing the plot only happens when im put into a position where I’m dealing with morons
There’s so many to choose from and avoid
Hence I don’t go out very often
I might get a t-shirt made up saying
" DONT MAKE ME ANGRY . YOU WONT LIKE ME WHEN IM ANGRY "
on that note I wish everyone a good night and sleep if it comes your way
Keith
Good to hear from you im sure mams appts will come through.soon.Try not to worry. I know it’s easier said than done.
Hubby and I been in Glasgow all day with our friends.so shattered. I can hear Phil snoring his head off.So think I will try and get some sleep as back to being up during the night again rubbish eh.
Hi babs
I know you won’t be alone . I can’t see any sleep coming my way tonight
So as I’m wide awake I’m leaving tonight about 11.30
Take a slow drive home but I won’t be by myself Sarah and Dave are traveling back to Ireland tomorrow . They are coming back to my house and I will drop them off at Stansted airport tomorrow afternoon
We can all take a share of driving home also it’s less traffic and less stressful driving at night
We will stop a few times but should be home about 7am
Will check in tomorrow
Night for now
Xxx
Hi to all those still awake
( although not by choice )
Especially you Babs we have stopped and
Pulled over for fresh coffee and leg stretch
It’s my turn for a break . Traffic is so light now . Can’t believe how far we have traveled in 2 hours . Feel like we are the only car about
I found out 1 thing Sarah has rotten taste in music it’s either that or I’m too old .
So Babs till the next stop I bid you adjure
Next stop will be about 5am
Hope sleep comes to all on here . I might try and get 40 winks on the back seat
Speak later
Keith

I’m sorry to hear that your mam hasn’t been very well - I’m sure this can’t be easy for you. I’m not sure if you’ve ever checked out the information regarding carers on our website, but given that you are the carer for your mam, it might be of interest to you. More info on this here - https://www.parkinsons.org.uk/information-and-support/looking-after-yourself-when-youre-carer
As I’m sure you’re already aware, you can contact our helpline for additional support on this - your situation is quite unique so I’m sure they’ll put you in the right direction of any other organisations or services that may be of help to you.
Thanks Reah I really appreciate your help but at moment I, ve not told mam what gp is thinking or why he, s referred here to 3 specialist as she is still getting over dad but if I need help I will ask for it any thanks
Pete
