Morning Keith, babs, Tommy and Mrs T how are you feeling today Keith I urge you to push your gp to refer you for a dat scan itās only sure way to find out if you have pd Don, t know if any one else would agree with this but as pd is now fighting for access to new treatments and demanding dwp treat us differently in regards assessment for benefits is there a reluctance to commit to pd diagnosis how many others have been treated like you and Tommy for instance may be I, m wrong but it, s just a thought anyway hope you all have a good day

Ive been up a couple of hours as i was still a bit peeved after yesterday although i am MUCH CALMER now
i decided i would google my Neurologist and her reviews and I AM NOT IMPRESSED
REVIEW 1 -
I was referred and went to this Neurologist with symptoms of early onset of Motor Neuron Disease i had to wait almost 4 months for the appointment the examination and questions lasted about 45 minutes and then only to be told it wasnāt neurological but PSYCHOLOGICAL , I was utterly dismayed
I left feeling sick and disgusted , I left there with NO answers NOTHING
WHY WHY WHY ???
REVIEW 2 -
I managed to get a cancellation appointment and went to see this neurologist for FUNCTIONAL LIMB DISORDER
Was tested questioned and examined for almost an hour
i was left stunned and speechless when she advised i should see a psychiatrist as my problem was not NEUROLOGICAL and it was self induced and stress related
REVIEW 3 -
My mother was examined by this SO CALLED EXPERT NEUROLOGIST when our FAMILY doctor for over 24 years suspect early DEMENTIA
She came out in tears after 35 minutes telling her that a psychiatrist is what she needed as my mothers problem was not Neurological that it was stress
I made a complaint but it fell on deaf ears i made more complaints but NOTHING WAS DONE
2 months later i got a phone call from the police at 2.35 am , MY MOTHER WAS WALKING DOWN THE ROUND NAKED NOT EVEN SLIPPERS
I made another complaint and this time i got a reply saying that as my mother was not under the care of this Neurologist she can not be held responsible
DO YOU THINK I HAVE GROUNDS NOW FOR A SECOND OPINION OR AT LEAST TO SEE A REAL PROFESSIONAL NEUROLOGIST

it was early and i misread your post
i do agree with you i told my wife and a few friends i think she is paid NOT to diagnose PD
with regards to ANGER MANAGEMENT she has NO IDEA how bad mine can be
but i would be more than willing to show her
if i do i just hope she brings along clean underwear
put e in a ring with mike tyson when my anger hits peak
i wouldnt just tear off his ear , id tear off his head

Keith see your gp and if you have to show her the reviews and tell her you want an answer to your problem if all else fails then go to your local community health Council it, so free and they will help you and maybe look at the work of neurologist so other people donāt suffer same way

Itās a very windy and wet day here part of our fence has fallen down so Phil will need to get it fixed ASAP before the whole lot falls down.
HI Keith hope you get an app for your Dr soon and ask for a dat scan which will deffo say whether you have PD or not. If it was me I would be so angry too as to the way you have been treated.

Not ALL he reviews are bad Many more good than bad but it only goes she can make mistakes

Iām upset because my cruel wife made me have a shower last night when I was suffering from CBAS and refused to scrub my back ( tart)
Kieth I have no wise cracks to make about your situation ,has your neurologist not figured out itās losing control of your own body and not knowing the reason that triggered your anger issues and a proper diagnosis would greatly address this situation.
Like I said yesterday I understand only too well what you are going through and itās well documented on this forum .
Iām on your side Kieth and always will be.

Me personally especially when its aimed at me i love the way you have the knack of bringing a bit of light into a dark subject
Makes me think the world aint half that bad
Sometimes i need that kick in the ass to gain a few inches to get out the dark hole i find myself in
YOU have an extraordinary way of makeing us laugh and smile even when we think we dont need it , its a gift , i couldnt find anything offensive or derogatory by what is said to me by friends
i think sometimes its needed or the hole we are in just gets deeper and deeper
im out today as im going to help a neighbour cut down an old tree in his garden
and between cutting down the tree , cups of tea and highly possibly a few beers i may only be reachable by text
so if you havent got it and you want TOMMY has it
so for now im goona get my old clothes on and get ready

Hi Tommy yes took us to Porthcawl seaside place about half an hour away we used to go there 3/4 times a week was dadās favourite place weāve not been there since he passed away if I hadnāt forgotten my tablets it would have been better was rough last night but OK now mam is going to kidney clinic this afternoon at 2pm
