Sorry all for doing a dexy’s today.
Spent the whole day in bed except getting up to walk the dog .
No appetite and complete downer due to dropping clonazepam by only 1mg . In two weeks I drop another 1mg then two weeks later off it completely.
Don’t get me wrong I’d much prefer to be off a drug that doesn’t improve my condition
But feel I’ve been a guinea pig by increasing it 12 fold in the first place and it being so addictive
Now that I’m down to 2mg tomorrow I’ll try a different way of tackling it by taking half in the morning and half at night and hope it is a little easier.
Also I’m suffering from a sharp stabbing pain on the lower left side just above my hip that has just appeared from nowhere.
I hope to be back on form tomorrow .

looks like T. having it bad too.
Why on earth were you on that drug in the first place?
No need to answer if too painful.
Wishing you a fabby sleep.

Hi Lesley
I was put on clonazepam in 2001 after a spinal operation that was delayed for a year and cost me a good job .
As soon as I had an MRI I was admitted immediately and operated on so they must have thought I was faking it until they saw the problem for themselves and I was left with restless leg syndrome and put on 0.5 mg for life I was told.
I was back working in no time although earning a lot less .
Then in 2005 I was diagnosed with a calcium heamatoma which I waited 6 months to have removed and when I went in the consultant said sorry this is not what I thought it was and referred me instantly to a cancer specialist who was very angry , took a biopsy and said if this is what I believe it is and has spread there will be only palliative care for you.
It turned out to be a sarcoma but hadn’t spread and was removed by two operations
But has mysteriously disappeared from my records however I still have the paperwork not that I would even consider suing the NHS
My son who was 26 at the time had a lump on his neck and had an ent appointment for 6 months later told his GP my situation and was seen immediately and had Hodgkin’s lymphoma was operated on and had chemotherapy and radiotherapy so in a strange way their mistake on me helped him.
I’m sorry you seem to have had a bad reaction to the flu jab as did Kieth .
Me and my Wife had no problems with it.

Blimey heck. You have really been through it as has your son and therefore your wife. It takes the unity of an amazing family to get through this: RESPECT.
I was just feeling mighty sorry for myself, am over it. Not helped by living on my own at the moment.
Can blub for Britain.

Were no different from anyone else .
We can only play with the cards we get dealt.
I’m not with my son’s mum anymore we split up 20 years ago and unfortunately my son and I no longer communicate
Such is life but I have been married to my second Wife for 14 years like I say you either let these things ruin your life or you choose to carry on regardless.

Hi Lesley

Was just wondering how you cope on your own or is your PD. Not too bad.

I could never manage on my own as I would be In Bed all day. Unable to cook and constantly falling.
I would absolutely just love to have 1 day feeling normal again.
Apologies going on a bit.

Babsx

Just come out of doctors
Suspected kidney infection
Off now for antibiotics

Oh no Tommy no wonder you’ve not been feeling well.
Have a nice relaxing day. Hope you are better soon. Babsx
