I was diagnosed in July 2019 and fair to say it’s been tough. Due to COVID-19 I went 18 months without seeing a medical professional but now things becoming clearer.
Anyway I just wanted to say ‘hello’ and interact with people who understand.
Hi and welcome to the forum, Paul. It must have been extremely difficult to go so long without seeing anyone after your diagnosis. However, it’s good to hear that you feel things are much clearer now. Our members here are very friendly and will pop by to say hello to you shortly, I’m sure.
Meanwhile, take some time to explore our site, where you’ll find out just about anything you need answers to. If you still find yourself needing advice or support, our helpline advisers are here for you on 0808 800 0303.
Looking forward to learning more about you,

Sorry to hear you’ve had a difficult time since diagnosis and good to hear things are
are settling down. The early days and weeks following diagnosis are never easy for all sorts of reasons but when exacerbated by covid and its impact on health services it can only have made things harder. I just wanted to say hello and welcome to the forum. Please do post any concerns, questions or comments you may have; it’s a safe place to do that, with people who understand.
