when i wake i feel the same whether i take my beds straight away or take hr or two later no diffrense worried as its like it doesnt help me please how do you all get like

I used to wonder what use the meds were as I couldn’t perceive any difference in my general day to day life and activities.
And then I had a knee replacement which resulted in not taking meds for 16 or so hours. My whole body started to shake. I was a blur of tremors in all limbs! A dose of Co-careldopa and within minutes I was back to my usual tremor free existence.
And I knew that the medication was indeed working for me.
I used to question it a fair amount, even to the point where I’d even question having PD… then one week I had a cold and not knowing at the time I dosed myself up on Lemsips…
worst few days I’ve ever had.
