Evening,
I was diagnosed a month ago and have heard nothing since, which is fine if that’s normal. However, I hear about Parkinson’s nurses etc, should I be following this up with my GP?
Hoping one of the more experienced out there can give me a steer, as I’m really hoping to get some speech therapy soon.

Have you been in contact with your gp since your diagnosis at all? I believe that a gp needs to be contacted and then the DVLA

Hi Hannah,
I’ve messaged my surgery to follow up with me and I’ve notified the DVLA.
I’ll wait for the surgery to get back to me. Maybe I just need to have a bit more patience!

I was diagnosed 4 weeks ago and I received my letter from neurologist a few days ago. I haven’t heard anything about a PD nurse yet either
