Hi @Jenny1,

Welcome to the forum.

Based on the information you’ve shared, it sounds like your husband has been experiencing fatigue which is a common symptom of Parkinson’s. We have more information on this on our website including tips on how to avoid fatigue or help minimising, here - https://www.parkinsons.org.uk/information-and-support/fatigue

For more information on the kind of support available to you and your husband, you can also visit our website here - https://www.parkinsons.org.uk/information-and-support/support-you

Lastly, I’m sure you’ll hear from the forum community soon, however, if you’d like to speak to someone about this, you can always give our confidential helpline a call and speak to one of our friendly advisers. Feel free to give us a call on 0808 800 0303 from Monday-Friday: 9am-7pm, Saturday: 10am-2pm. One of our advisers can also arrange for our on call Parkinson’s nurse to give you or your husband a call within 24 hours.

I hope you find this information useful.

Best wishes,

I contacted the Parkinson’s Helpline late morning regarding my husband and by 4pm a PD Nurse phoned him and advised him to see his Doctor , what a fantastic quick response thank you.

Hi,I had an episode today of feeling really unwell, started with my head spinning, uncontrollable tremor inside and out, head nodding and shaking. Lasted about an hour, then the shaking stopped but still do not feel right. Is this normal.

Hi Eunice,

I hope you’re feeling OK at the moment. Have you spoken with your GP or Parkinson’s specialist about what you experienced recently? It’s always a good idea to have a chat with a professional if your worried about any symptoms like this. We do also have some information on Dyskinesia that you might find helpful, you can read more here: https://www.parkinsons.org.uk/information-and-support/wearing-and-dyskinesia

Reah has mentioned in her comment above how to contact the helpline, you can have a chat with one of our advisers on 0808 800 0303 from Monday-Friday: 9am-7pm, Saturday: 10am-2pm. They can also arrange for a Parkinson’s nurse to give you a call, if you’d like to do that.

I hope this is helpful for you.
