Itch

Has anyone had or have an itch that never goes away. No bite no redness just seems there all or most of the time, for many months.

Hi Wayne, thank you for reaching out to the forum. We’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing a constant itch.

There is a common condition called seborrhoeic dermatitis which can cause the skin to itch. You can read more about this on our website here: Skin and sweating problems | Parkinson's UK

We would recommend reaching out to your GP, specialist or Parkinson’s nurse to see if they can advise on treatments to help.

We’re sure our lovely forum members will also be able to share their advice with you.

Take care,
The Parkinson’s UK Moderation Team

Yep long time sufferer, I mainly resist now but sometimes I cannot help but scratch it to bits…

Shower with sensitive no perfume shower gel and sudocrem relieves it for me…

Hi, thank you. So many nuances with Parkinson’s isn’t there.
