My wife who is my career has been called up for jury duty, is the fact that she is a career enough to excuse her? Anyone had experience of this
I should think so. Years ago my wife was excused jury duty on the grounds that she worked as a nurse in a nursing home. Give it a try.

Go or phone your GP tell them the situation and they should give you a letter for the Courts to excuse your wife/carer from Jury Duty. You'll have to be quick because I think there is a time limit for the Courts. (This is in Scotland so not sure if England is the same.) Worth a try. Good luck!
