My name is Dave and I am 69
And before 2023 I was doing just fine,
Worked through covid without a hitch,
But then my right arm started to twitch,
Dr said to have a scan to find out what he did not know,
Parkinsons he said well thats a blow,
Now I knew what caused my shake
Parkinsons UK showed me the route to take.
I walk twice a day up and down hills,
And three times a day I take my pills
My life is different but not at all bad,
It could be much worse so I am not sad,
My message is to find a way,
To get the best of every day,
Just off to get a cold drink but hold up on the ice cubes
