Keeping Well This Winter

Cold weather, ice and seasonal illnesses can cause more complications for people with Parkinson’s.

Here’s some advice on managing in colder weather:

  1. Keep yourself and your house warm
  2. Ensure you have enough medicine
  3. Keeping active

Hello Rhea - I would add

Stock up on jars, tins, packets and frozen food so you don’t run low on supplies if you can’t get out - online deliveries do try hard to get orders out but don’t assume they will always succeed.

Keep hydrated

Remember the short and often grey days of winter will pass and give way to Spring
