Hi , I am new to the forum . I am 56 and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 2 years ago. I am finding it increasingly difficult to put my contact lenses in and out and fumbling for my glasses in shops etc is just as bad. Hence , I am considering lense replacement surgery to try and make life a bit easier. Has anyone else gone through this surgery and was it worth it . I don’t want to take this option if , with having Parkinson’s, it’s going to be a waste of time and money . Thankyou for any advice , Linda
Hi Speedy1
I had lense replacement surgery a few years before I was diagnosed with PD six years ago.
Best thing I ever had done.

I am 63 and have just had Full focal lens replacement about 3 weeks ago, I can now see much better and it has improved my quality of life, it was well worth the money, it took 15 minutes for each eye, both eyes done the same day. I now have 20/20 vision
That’s great to hear, @H1! That must make such a difference to the quality of your life ![]()
