Light therapy for PD

Does anyone know about this system.

There is so much total bs going around with different companies propounding asinine cures with “light therapy” that I am incredibly dubious.

Photopharmics has completed enrollment of a Phase 3 clinical trial testing Celeste, its light therapy device for Parkinson’s disease, the company announced.

The ongoing Phase 3 trial (NCT04453033), dubbed Light for PD, has enrolled 350 participants with Parkinson’s, surpassing the initial target enrollment of 300 patients. Topline results from the trial are expected in the second quarter of 2026.

I don’t know about this clinical trial, but I was a “light therapy” nurse in Oxford for several years. I treated a huge variety of illnesses, with great success, so I hope this is trial is profitable - it’s certainly not ‘asinine’.

Ok, then please tell me the name of the “ light therapy” you use, that you say you have had great success with.

Thank you.

Will do.,

ngl the “light therapy” world is usually 90% snake oil, so your bs detector is definitely working right. tbh what makes this one different is that they’re actually doing a massive 350-person study instead of just paying influencers to talk about it. if the results in Q2 2026 are solid, it could be a game changer, but until then, it’s probably best to keep your money in your pocket and see if the science actually backs up the hype.

I have a major problem with even the ‘350 person’ study if of course it actually is independent and not a “set up”
If there is no control group, and peer review it actually means very little.
