Lost taste buds

Not sure if this topic has been mentioned before. Quite a while ago I went to see my GP i was having problems breathing at night when i put my head on my pillow. After a few days/nights i had the most vile taste in my mouth and a lot of scabs inside my nose. The GP said rhat nothing was wrong, after my nose cleared i found that i could no-longer taste anything, I know -its not the end of the world, but I loved my food, Doe’s my PD have any thing to this

Unfortunately, having a loss of taste is quite common for people with Parkinson’s and it is something that has been discussed at length on a older thread which you can find here - No taste or smell.
