Madopar and turmeric, ginger and black pepper supplement

Hi. I’m looking at an alternative to ibuprofen for knee and shoulder joint pain. Old sport injuries.

I’ve done some research and found that turmeric, ginger and black pepper supplements are very effective.

Is it safe to take while taking Madopar?

It is best to check with your doctor or pharmacist, as turmeric and other supplements can interact with Madopar.

Have you thought of trying Paracetamol and/or codeine phosphate with an anti inflammatory?

Co-codamol can work with Madopar, either the 80/500 over the counter or the 30/500 from GP. Will need to talk to GP about doses and long term taking before you start taking
