I’ve started supplementing some of my pharma drugs with Mucuna pruriens capsules and I’ve noticed an improvement with my rigidity that my pharma drugs don’t achieve.
Is this stuff for real? I’m actually contemplating weaning myself off stalevo completely I am so impressed Mucuna.
Little things have become easier such as washing pots (not necessarily a good thing i hear you say )
I am pleased you notice an improvement in your symptoms. I took Pharmaceutical medication for 4 years then due to side effects decided to try Mucuna Pruriens which I have been on for 18 months resulting in a
vastly improved lifestyle. It definitely works for me so good luck for the future.

I’m glad to hear that you have found something that works for you. If you’re interested in reading more about Mucuna pruriens and its effects I’d recommend checking out our blog post on it. Very interesting stuff, indeed!
I would also recommend speaking to your GP, Parkinson’s nurse, or specialist, however, before deciding to make any changes to your current medication regime. Whether it’s adding or subtracting, pharmaceutical drugs or supplements, these important decisions should not be made alone. They will be able to help you make the best medication plan for yourself.
Update. I’ve dropped 2 tabs a day of my meds (i only take 1 stalevo a day now). And take 2 capsules of mucuna per day (say 357mg per capsule). Feel more engergised and less fatigued.
Before going onto Mucuna I was struggling with brushing my teeth, washing my hair, etc I felt nervy a lot of the time and my mobility was reduced. Once I found the mucuna that suited me and how to manage the dosage I was much more mobile, positive and energetic. I do not take any pharmaceutical medicines for my PD. Glad you’re getting some benefit may it continue

Before I started on this I purchased brown Mucuna Pruriens in the uk. I found I needed to take quite a lot to get any benefit and then it wasn’t easy to regulate.
Wish you well with whatever you decide. Let me know if you need anything else.
