Does anybody know if it is possible to buy Peximyr in Spain?
Hi @bobmercer,
Welcome to the Parkinson’s UK forum.
To answer your question, I don’t know where you could buy Preximyr in Spain.
We only have info on UK medication, and our nurses won’t know about drugs prescribed by non-UK doctors. However, you find it useful to contact the European PD Assoc instead https://www.epda.eu.com/, and/or our Spanish equivalent, they will be able to help you with this. You can find their contact details here: https://www.epda.eu.com/our-members/member-organisations/
I hope you find this information helpful!
Best wishes,
Reah
Hi Bob,

Each Peximyr tablet contains Pramipexole diHCl monohydrate 0.25 or 1 mg equivalent to Peximyr base 0.18 or 0.7 mg, respectively. It also contains the following excipients: Mannitol, maize starch, anhydrous colloidal silica, polyvidone and magnesium stearate.
Each Peximyr ER tablet contains Pramipexole diHCl monohydrate 0.375, 1.5 or 3 mg equivalent to Peximyr base 0.26, 1.05 or 2.1 mg, respectively. It also contains the following excipients: Hypromellose 2208, maize starch, carbomer 941, anhydrous colloidal silica and magnesium stearate.

Thanks Reah and Kora for your helpful comments.
Hi there,
I had to buy some Pramipexole when I was stranded in Spain following the Icelandic volcano. It doesn’t come cheap. I think I paid £70 for 10 tablets!
Surely PUK should know what Parkinson’s drugs are available in other countries, especially European countries?
