Multi Alarm vibration watch?

Hi @Garybrooks . I’ve been using one of these for quite a while (I bought mine in August 2019). I think I just shopped around to find the cheapest price and ended up getting it from a specialised health site but the price seems to have come down now anyway.

You’re right, it’s not waterproof and isn’t amazing quality but mine seems to have lasted well and I find it very useful. I’ve had to replace the strap twice as it splits quite easily but the replacements are quite cheap. I like the fact that it has a rechargeable battery so I don’t need to worry about it suddenly failing. I recharge mine once a week.

Regards Clare

Hello, I bought a Fitbit versa watch for my husband that works well but does entail having an app on a phone or iPad etc to sync the watch with. Does also need recharging every 4 days or so. I couldn’t find a watch that had facility to set 7 alarms for each day, but I maynot have looked hard enough! Hope you are Successful shopping.

I needed five alarms daily, and bought a cheap Casio 3918 watch for the purpose.
It is waterproof to 100m (apparently!), shows the time in various place round the world for your entertainment and delight and the alarm function is quite straightforward to use. I find it rather bulky on my wrist, but it is after all a men’s watch. When I say cheap, it depends where you shop of course. The current price varies from £19.99 in Argos to twice as much in H Samuel or the Watch Shop. The alarm volume is not terribly loud, but I find it perfectly adequate. I hope this helps.

which watch exactly?

Plus1, I bought a casio gbd-100 g shock. It cost £90 but has 4 alarms per day that you only have to set once. It’s also waterproof and the battery can last 5-10 years apparently. I find that even though I’m reminded to take my meds I sometimes don’t - so I found a free Google clock app (on Google playstore) You can set as many alarms as you want per day and control volume etc of alarm and only have to set them up once. I put this on my TLC android phone (there is a way to install google playstore on some blocked android phones (search online to find out how). I also found a way to install google playstore on my Kindle Fire tablet. (this is a lot more complicated but again instructions can be found online) Now I get my watch sounding followed by my phone and tablet - this batters me into submission to take my meds. Hope this helps, if not an IT whiz yourself gat a friend or relative to do it. If you already have Google play store on a device you’re sorted free of charge and no annoying adds just install Google Clock.

I recently bought a Pivotell Vibratime 10 alarm vibrating watch - sorry the link has gremlins today, and I love it.

It’s nothing fancy, It comes with 2 bands and you can purchase other colours, it is rechargeable, comes with very clear instructions and has only 2 buttons (which some may find difficult to use as they are small but I had no problem with them.) I can set up to 12 alarms and the face of the watch lights up and it vibrates when the alarm goes off. It cost about £27.00. Its simple and does what you need it to do.

Hi all

This might be suitable for anyone with an iPhone (SE) available for free On Apple |App store

Easy to set up, cant remember how many alarms in total but I use 4

Other facilities you can use are:

Low number of meds alert to help you keep your meds stock under control.

Ability to list all your meds so if you are rushed into hospital medics can view a list of them

OOOPs forgot to tell you it’s name.

Medisafe

This is what I use and I also love it. The only slight problem that I have is that it’s rather fiddly to put on in the morning before the medication has kicked in and when I have tremors in one hand.

That’s a great idea, and now more than ever, many smartwatches can be equipped with this function. Many of them are also water resistant. Some luxury watches also come with this option if you’re looking for something a bit more luxurious. For example, you can find some great alarm reminders with Pawnbrokers on Oxford Street. They also use quality materials and craftsmanship, so you can be sure that the watch will serve you for years to come. Plus, you can get some really great deals on luxury watches from them. I hope this helps you find the perfect watch for you.

I ended up getting a basic Casio with multiple alarms, and it’s been pretty reliable for the job. Besides, it’s waterproof, simple to use, and tough enough to handle daily wear.

If you’re into watches and want something that stands out a bit more for regular wear, I’ve also got a super clone Daytona I use for special occasions. It doesn’t have alarms, but it’s a sharp piece when you’re not relying on it for reminders.

All I have alarms set up on Alexa Echo and it works really well. I also set up a mobile phone for my husband but he struggled to use it. So for safety I bought walkie talkies which he is able to use without any problems. It’s essentially for when he goes out with the dog, incase he should fall. It also helps me to keep check on him so that I know he is safe.
