unnatural remedies

there is an OTC preparation called Kalms which is a herbal remedy (valerian, said to be natures valium). It is suppossed to relieve worry & stress.
So is medidation. Excercise is also recommended (but this pwp no can do!)
The very best thing that I have found is to talk to someone who will listen

seriously dates - keeping the digestive system happy is paramount, apricots, raisins, nuts, - keep the magnesium and potassium levels up. dont interfere with levadopa either. natural sugar burst.
sufficient rest, a good night's sleep, listening to (for you) relaxing music half an hour each day(research has been done)
I would be careful with so-called herbal remedies, these might interact with some drugs.

join laughter therapy groups, apparently it has been shown that artificially induced laughter produces the same beneficial chemicals in the brain as 'normal', spontaneous laughter.
thank you Kate for pointiig out the possibility of herbal remedies interacting negatively with some PD prescribed medication. I assume that this is also true of some foods? I do know about levodopa & protein. Not sure about chocolate
