Neurologist or age care consultant?

My OH is being treated by the local age care consultant who is the designated consultant for the PD team here. Ought we to be trying to get referred to a neurologist?

If the consultant is the designated consultant for the PD team, he or she is likely to be as experienced in PD as a neurologist, so I shouldn't worry. The advantage of an age care consultant is a greater knowledge of support services and other sources of help.
