Hi @graham1954, welcome to the forum. It’s good that you’ve found your way here.
Living with Parkinson’s can feel isolating at times, especially after a move, so reaching out like this is a positive step. Hopefully there will be other members nearby who spot your post and say hello.
There are also local Parkinson’s groups around south west London, which can be a good way to meet people face to face if that feels right for you.
We have a tool on our website to search for these groups. This is what it returns when we put Roehampton as your area: Showing results for "Roehampton, London, UK" | Parkinson's local support finder
Take your time getting used to things here. There’s no rush and plenty of people who understand what you’re living with.
Sending our warmest wishes

Hello Graham1954 and welcome to the forum. You have already received an excellent reply from Bernard one the moderators and perhaps you will follow up on what he has written when you are ready. The forum is always here if, as and when you might want to make use of it. I just thought I would mention that you can of course any questions you may have or for advice you may want, but there are some fun things to do if you are so inclined. So take some time to have a good look round, you may even get something from reading some of the other posts on a whole range of subjects. I hope you find the forum useful and of course, there’s nothing to stop you replying to a post if you wish - after all, your experiences and views will be as valid and valuable as anyone else’s.
