Hi has anyones hwp Rototagine patches for stiffness. If they have did they have any side effects.

We hope that others in the community may be able to share their experiences, but dopamine agonist drugs like Rotigotine can sometimes make you sleepy, faint or dizzy. This is most likely to happen when you start taking them. Once you get to a stable dose, this effect often wears off.
Some people have fallen asleep suddenly, without any warning. This can happen when the amount of medication you are taking is increased, but should settle down. If this happens, it’s important that you tell your specialist or Parkinson’s nurse.
Your healthcare team will usually advise you not to drive while they increase your dose of this medication.

Thankyou for your reply im a bit concerned as parkinsons nurse said GP needs to monitor him closely.
He never sees a GP even though we are 3 minutes up the road from the surgey. Last phone call from GP lasted 2 minutes 18 seconds so how is he going to be moitored like that.
Im scared it will all be on me to monitor him but there will be no backup if i need it.

Good morning Rockets Rotigotine 6mg i started at 2mg and built up to 6 over 2 months period this patch takes about 10 to 21 days to see any benefits i have no side effects and i put patch on my thighs i have mine for restless legs syndrome
