Hi Watson600,

So sorry to hear about your wife’s diagnosis, it must be a very difficult time for both of you.

You can find lots of information and advice for people caring for partners, friends or family members with Parkinson’s on our website, here: https://www.parkinsons.org.uk/information-and-support/caring-someone-parkinsons

You might also like to take a look at our page for people who are newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s, which you can find here: https://www.parkinsons.org.uk/information-and-support/newly-diagnosed-parkinsons

Lastly - if you have any more specific queries or concerns at this point, we’d recommend you contact our Helpline, who are able to offer advice and support on a wide range of issues affecting Parkinson’s patients and their carers. You can reach them via email at [email protected], or call FREE on 0808 800 0303. Lines are open Monday to Friday from 9am-7pm, and on Saturdays from 10am-2pm.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes,
