Newly diagonsed

Hi All, My mum has recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s & I feel we have just been left to deal with it with little understanding from the gp & private health any time I raise concerns of change in behaviour were just told its a symptom of Parkinson’s and to get on with it really. My is 65 we recently lost my dad in 2022 and ever since she has naturally not been herself however since start of September he behaviour completely changed serve anxiety won’t leave the house can’t keep her back straight & cannot sit still. Then she was disgnosed with Parkinson’s. she is currently on Dopamine agnostic tablets currently on week 7 and symptoms have no changed I feel they are worsened we are still waiting to see the consultant for an appointment.

Personally I’m just not sure how to deal with it, open to any suggestions/help her back Is very rigid and she walks with with he back slumped and head facing the ground & says she is in complete pain with it and cannot lift her head up but the doctor doesn’t find that concerning?

I have been doing some research into this but just wondered if anyone had any ideas how to go about any steps I can do to make life a little easier for us both. thank youuu x
