Oh deep joy

Oh deep joy indeed. As well as having this “pain in the ass” Parkinsons for around 4 years, I also have had the luxury of type 2 diabetes for the last 20 years which has been controlled with diet, exercise and Metformin. Now my sugar levels are well up and I suspect that my GP will want to put me on insulin injections after the latest diabetic review as he has already mentioned on a previous occasion.
Anyone else in a similar situation? How do you get on with mixing Sinemet, Rasagaline, Pramipexole, Metformin and Insulin?
Do they react against / affect each other / side effects?
Any info gratefully received.
Thanks Nick

@NickA,

Welcome back to the forum. :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m sorry to hear that you’re now having to take insulin; I’m sure you’ll receive some helpful advice from members of the community. In the meantime, do give our helpline a call and speak to one of our advisers about this, they have a lot of knowledge on Parkinson’s related medication so I’m sure they can provide you with more support on this.

Best wishes,
Reah
