Hi everyone, I think I just want to have a moan because I was doing ok with PD but have now developed osteoarthritis in my left knee and am finding it very painful. I’ve been taking paracetamol but intend to ask my GP for something stronger (an amputation ?). Am so fed-up with limping about and I just needed to tell someone. Thanks.
Have you considered an off loading brace ?
I had a bad knee and couldn’t stand I was told I may need an op.
But I used an off loading brace which pushed the knee into the good cartilage giving time for the knee to heal.
After a couple of years I was brace free .
