Does anyone else here get heart palpitations? I go for a short walk everyday and have recently developed palpitations after walking for 5/10 minutes and start walking uphill. I also get them after meals. I am very tired through not sleeping and very stressed and wondered of this could be the cause. I was told about 15 years ago that I had ectopic beats which were harmless so maybe connected. Am recently diagnosed and waiting for an appointment with a Parkinson’s nurse.
I have just made an appointment with a private cardiologist for palpitations. An ECG showed ectopic beats and also some electrical problems. I can be sitting doing nothing and my blood pressure rises and I go into mild tachycardia. I have had PD diagnosed for about 16 years now.
