When my meds don’t work – which is every day for at least 2 to 4 hours - I experience severe muscle pain. Is anyone taking pain relief for this?
Hi ShakyCJ,
That’s a very difficult question.
It depends on what medication you are taking, how many times a day, the strength of the medication, the release rate,( How fast/slow it dissolves ) etc.
Sorry I can’t be of more help but there are so many factors involved, that only your doctor/neuro can answer.
HI Shaky
I to am getting severe muscle pain fist was in my shoulder then the right leg now both legs my wife went to boots chemist and explained what medication I was on and he gave her some pain relief (won’t tell what it was as might not work for you) so one suggestion would be to ask your pharmacists, Hope you get sorted
I swear by Tramadol, if you can get it. Not on the list of prescription meds for PD unfortunately. I stumbled across it after a fall and hurt my back badly. This was a while ago. Now only require a minimal dose for tremendous positive effect.
