Parkinsons Protocol

Does anyone have thoughts on the Parkinson’s Protocol by Jodi Knapp?

I have only just been diagnosed and so want to “fight” and looking for “weapons” so was attracted by the concepts that you could halt progression.
BUT as there’s been no other responce is that because of tried and failed or just failed (or no-one tried)???

I’ve been “fighting” for 6 years. I’m now 58.
My “weapon” of choice is Exercise, Exercise, Exercise.
I appreciate that we are all at different stages and abilities but do what you can.

I took up running and get my heart rate up for 30 minutes at least 3 times a week. If I miss one I really notice it. I have to take my Sinemet 50 minutes before my run so that I am fully switched on.
There is clinical evidence that this type of exercise can slow PD progression. It certainly hasn’t stopped my PD from getting worse but I’m going to keep running as long as I can.
