My mum is struggling to eat and drink and her weight has plummeted. She is in a care home. We think part of the problem is that she’s not swallowing her Sinamet tablet and instead chews it and spits some out. We were told that there could be an option of a patch. Does anyone know?
She’s currently on prometax patch 13.3mg and her sinamet is 115mg x 6 times a day.
We’ve been trying to get hold of her PD nurse but it’s impossible.
Any help appreciated as she’s really deteriorating.
